Chelsea star Loic Remy: The BEST career advice I've ever received

The Frenchman joined Nice seven years ago and hit 26 goals in 67 appearances during his spell with the club.

Remy has had to bide his time before getting an extended run in Jose Mourinho's side this term.

But the 28-year-old maintains the advice he received at Nice is as pertinent now as it was then.

"I had just signed for Nice and it was a big deal because Nice had spent a lot of money on me," Remy told The Daily Telegraph.

"Everybody was expecting a lot. When I came, the captain, Olivier Echouafni, told me 'You know your quality, take your chance.

"The career is short so don't wait for anything.'"
