EDEN HAZARD believes he has a chance of winning the Ballon d'Or if Chelsea continue to challenge for major honours.

Player Profile Eden Hazard

The Belgium international has been in sensational form this season as Jose Mourinho's men lead the charge for the Premier League title.

Chelsea have already claimed the Capital One Cup this season, and all eyes are fixed on Stamford Bridge as the domestic campaign nears its end.

If I get the awards, it’s good for me, but it is not the first thing

And speaking exclusively to the club's official website, Hazard admitted that he is not thinking about individual awards until Chelsea get their hands on more silverware.

He explained: "I want to win collective trophies first. I know if I win these with Chelsea then maybe I can get the PFA Player of the Year in England or the Ballon d’Or.

"But when I see Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, I know I have to score more goals. These awards are not my objective, I just want to play; if I get the awards, it’s good for me, but it is not the first thing."
