Arsene Wenger wants a draw in the Manchester derby

The Gunners currently sit in second place in the Premier League, seven points behind leaders Chelsea.

But they are just one point ahead of United and two clear of City.

And while the Gunners top four place looks secure with Liverpool a further seven points back, Wenger says he doesn’t particularly want either City or United to pick up three points on Sunday.

Asked if he had a preference in the game Wenger said: “Not really because the draw is not bad, as well, for us.”

The draw is not bad, as well, for us.

Speaking about his side's chances of catching Chelsea, Wenger added: "There are still many challenges until the end of the season.

"It is interesting that we are in good form, and it’s interesting that we have a good team dynamic.

"Hopefully we can maintain that until the end of the season.

"Then we will see where we stand.

"We look behind us and people are chasing us. In front of us there is quite a good distance to Chelsea.

"But we’ve worked very hard to reduce that."
