Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger rules out Barcelona return for 'surprising' Hector Bellerin
ARSENE WENGER has admitted his surprise at Hector Bellerin’s impact for Arsenal this season and ruled out any chance of a return to Barcelona.
Hector Bellerin has impressed for Arsenal
Bellerin has burst onto the scene in recent weeks, scoring the first goal in the Gunners victory over Liverpool last weekend.
And Wenger says he was not counting on such an assured transition to the first team from the 20-year-old.
He said: “I’m surprised how quickly he has settled in and that is down to personality.

“Of course he has adapted very well.
“He had a difficult start at Dortmund but he has recovered very well and has improved permanently.
“He’s only 20 years old now. Him and Chambers are 20 years old and they have had two outstanding seasons together.”
Bellerin moved to Arsenal from Barcelona in his teens and has refused to rule out a move back to the Camp Nou at some point in the future.
But Wenger believes the Spaniard has been schooled in the Arsenal way and expects him to remain in London for the foreseeable future.
He added: “He came at 16 so I consider him a real Arsenal player.”
