Van Persie, signed from Arsenal in 2012 for £24m, has been out injured for the majority of the season.

And Louis van Gaal is ready to replace him with Edinson Cavani of PSG.

The Uruguay striker is reportedly fed up with life in Paris and is keen on the Premier League.

Chelsea have sealed the £6m signing of Kenedy.

The Fluminense striker, according to Globo Esporte, will join the Blues in the summer.

The 19-year-old has also been scouted Manchester United and Barcelona.

The move is said to have been handled by Giuliano Bertolucci, agent for Oscar, Willian and Ramires.

And it's thought this helped push Chelsea to the front of the queue ahead of rivals Manchester United

Arsenal have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Paulo Dybala.

The Palermo man has been lined up by the Gunners for a summer move.

However, Inter Milan want him to replace Chelsea-bound Mauro Icardi.

Dybala's agent recently said he is unlikely to stay in Italy, but the Milan club believe they can convince him to sign.
