And according to GloboEsporte, a deal has now been struck that will see the youngster head for Chelsea to take part in pre-season.

It is suggested that Chelsea have agreed to pay £6million for Kenedy with just over half of that amount going to his current club.

Kenedy is also owned by BMG bank and his agent, Evandro Ferreira, who will see the rest of the fee.

According to the reports, Fluminense chief Peter Siemsen has been in talks with Giuliano Bertolucci for over a month regarding a move.

Bertolucci played a crucial role in Oscar, Willian and Ramires moving to Chelsea.

"It was through Deco, who is now his agent. It was an approach, not a formal offer though.

"Half of Europe is following him."
