They call Yannick Bolasie the Magic Man because of his repertoire of tricks and the Crystal Palace winger is expected to pull them all out of the bag against City in his bid for a big-money move in the summer. 

Despite manager Alan Pardew delivering a ‘hands off Bolasie’ message, the winger is anxious to hit the jackpot, having plied his trade with Plymouth, Barnet and Bristol City before exploding on to the scene at Selhurst Park this season. 

Pellegrini is aware that another magic show from him tomorrow could make City’s slim hopes of retaining their Premier League title vanish – as well as his fragile tenure at the Etihad Stadium. 

Pardew did little to ease the pressure on his rival last night by suggesting this could be the time when Bolasie and co shock one of the big boys.
