Liverpool and Chelsea BOTH in the running to land Man Utd flop Radamel Falcao from Monaco

LIVERPOOL are among four clubs looking to take Manchester United flop Radamel Falcao on loan from Monaco next season, according to reports.

Radamel Falcao Player Profile

Falcao is set to return to Monaco after failing to convince United to make his loan move permanent at the end of the current campaign.

And it is claimed that several clubs have already got in touch with the Principality club in a bid to become the Colombian striker's next destination.

According to Le10Sport, Liverpool are joined by Inter Milan, AC Milan and Juventus in enquiring about Falcao.

Radamel Falcao will have plenty of suitors this summer

But according to the French magazine none of the quartet wants to pay Monaco's revised £35million asking price for the player just yet.

Instead, all four reportedly want to take Falcao on loan and then - like United - have an option to buy at the end of the season.

Monaco are said to be keen to avoid a repeat of what transpired at United this season, however, and could offer the player to Chelsea.

It is claimed that Jose Mourinho is keen to find a back-up for Diego Costa with Didier Drogba set to retire and sees Falcao as a good option, although the Stamford Bridge outfit are yet to formally make contact with Monaco to discuss a deal.
