TEAM NEWS: Hazard starts for Chelsea with Costa doubtful for Stoke clash

EDEN HAZARD will start for Chelsea against Stoke tomorrow, although Diego Costa could miss out despite recovering from a hamstring injury.

The Blues host the Potters at Stamford Bridge (5.30pm) and will be looking to maintain their lead at the top of the Premier League table over Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Hazard will start the game whilst also suggesting that Costa will come off the bench after the striker missed Spain’s recent international fixtures.

One player who will not feature is John Obi Mikel, who is yet to fully recover from a knee injury.

Talking about Hazard, Mourinho said: “Hazard’s been working all week with the group. He’s tired but not injured.

“Hazard’s tired as he played two matches in three days, he played in Israel, got no sleep, he arrived in Belgium at 5 or 6am, he’s tired because he’s [always] playing.

“We think he can recover and he starts tomorrow. He’s a player that’s important for both club and country. I want to play him every time and his national coach wants to too.”
