The Blues face Stoke at Stamford Bridge tomorrow (5.30pm) looking to extend their lead at the top of the table over Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal.
Indeed, Chelsea have a game in hand still to play, and many pundits believe that the title will be heading to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
And speaking ahead of the clash against Mark Hughes’ men, Mourinho explained that mathematically speaking, six wins and draw will be enough to secure a first Premier League triumph for the club in five years.
He said: “We need six wins and one draw from nine matches so it’s a good situation for us.

“All other clubs would like that. It’s all mathematical. It’s too early [to predict which match the title will be won in].
“We’re not thinking about how or when, we’re just thinking we need to win six and draw one. Every victory we have now is one less that we need and one less occasion for our opponents to each us.
“I don’t care [if we win the league] in the team hotel, I just want to win it.
“Clubs get the trophy in the last game at home, so if we win the title we get the trophy our our house but I don’t care.”
