Zlatan Ibrahimovic has irked PSG

Ibrahimovic has recently courted controversy by criticising the standard of refereeing in France.

And reports in that country suggest that PSG president demanded an apology following Ibrahimovic's outspokenness.

It is thought the Swedish striker was happy to comply - and is keen to remain in Paris - but former Marseille star Jose Anigo says the Ligue 1 outfit need to be careful not to push the volatile star too far.

Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been linked with Ibrahimovic in recent times, with Peter Schmeichel saying the 33-year-old was made for life at Old Trafford.

Schmeichel compared Ibrahimovic to Eric Cantona and Anigo agrees.

He told France Football: "I am convinced that it is not that complicated to manage a player like Zlatan.

"You just have to have the right key to open the right doors at the right time.

"In a dressing room, a mega-star is obviously nitroglycerin.

"You have to handle them with extreme caution because it can blow in your face and destroy the entire group, including the coach."
