Eden Hazard: How playing so many games for Chelsea has run me into the ground

EDEN HAZARD has dealt Chelsea a blow by admitting he may not be at full strength.

The Belgium winger has been in sensational form for the Blues this term, helping them to the top of the Premier League, but following his substitution in Belgium's win over Israel Hazard admits he is feeling the heat.

Hazard has started every Premier League match this season of Chelsea's 29 and seven of their eight Champions League games.

But he was subbed after 62 minutes by Belgium coach Marc Wilmots - who told him he looked tired and admitted he had to bring him off to improve the intensity of Belgium's play.

Wilmots said: "Hazard is not hurt, but I had the impression that he was tired. 

"In these kind of games, you have to react immediately because we did not have time."

And the 24-year-old, despite being unhappy to come off, admitted he could be tired.

"I was a little bit surprised to be substituted," Hazard said. 

"Also, I was a little bit unhappy and I think you could see that I was unhappy.

"I asked the coach for a reason and he told me that I was tired. 

"Maybe I was a little bit tired. I’ve played a lot of games this season."
