The rumours emerged after Sterling turned down a reported £100,000-a-week deal with the Reds, despite Rodgers urging him to sign the 'incredible offer'.

The England winger plans to re-enter contract talks at the end of the season and concentrate on his football for the time being.

The 20-year-old claims there are no hard feelings between the pair and insists he doesn't have a bad word to say about the Northern Irishman.
