Liverpool's Raheem Sterling speaks out over 'DREAM' Real Madrid move

RAHEEM STERLING admits that he has dreamed of playing abroad but claims he is currently happy at Liverpool.

The 20-year-old England flier is currently stalling over signing a new deal at Liverpool and has subsequently been linked with a big-money move to Real Madrid.

And while Sterling admits that there is appeal to playing 'somewhere sunny' he says he is happy trying to win trophies with Liverpool for the time being.

He told the BBC: "Everyone's dream growing up is seeing themselves in an away kit somewhere in a sunny country.

"But, in reality, I'm happy to be playing for Liverpool and trying to win trophies."

On the transfer speculation Sterling added: "I try to kill it off, but I don't think the public can see it that way.

"I think they just see it as this 20-year-old boy being greedy.

"I just want to take the time to think about what I've achieved in my career so far, where I need to go and what I need to do to get better as a player."
