Chelsea News: Cech clarification, SHOCK Walcott move, £20m Costa deal, Fabregas's love

Chelsea are lining up a summer move for Arsenal winger Theo Walcott.

The England international is in the middle of another contract dispute and, with his current deal ticking down, the Blues are keen to be involved if a transfer does materialise.

Walcott has been linked with a switch to Liverpool - who are working on their own unsettled winger's contract - with Brendan Rodgers understood to be a fan.

And, according to the Times, Chelsea may make a move for Walcott when the transfer window re-opens.

The 26-year-old is on around £100,000-a-week and is thought to want an increase along with assurances of playing-time at Arsenal.

He recently tweeted that he had not had a bust-up with Arsene Wenger and that he was leaving talks until the summer.

And Arsenal are after assurances from Chelsea that Petr Cech is available before making their bid.

The veteran keeper is on his way out of the club after admitting he didn't want another season like this one.

Cech has predominantly been on the sidelines this term after ten years as the club's No.1.

And his agent admitted in January that he would be a good fit at Arsenal or Liverpool.

And, according to the Daily Mirror, Arsenal will make a move in the summer - but only once they're confident he will make the move to north London.

Cesc Fabregas says he is loving life at the Bridge.

The Spain midfielder has been in fine form in inspiring the Blues to top spot in the Premier League.

"I'm going through a time in my life where I enjoy everything I do," Fabregas said.

"I'm playing almost every minute of every match [with Chelsea] and that's what makes me happy. 

"To matter in the game is fundamental. Now we have to fight hard to win the Premier League and make this season a great year.

"We still have the chance to win the double [Capital One Cup and Premier League], and for that reason we cannot relax for a moment."

And finally, Chelsea are back in for Douglas Costa.

The £20m-rated star could be headed to Stamford Bridge, according to the Daily Mirror.
