Chelsea give Petr Cech their blessing to join Arsenal or Liverpool in £10m summer deal

CHELSEA keeper Petr Cech is free to join Arsenal or Liverpool this summer.

The Blues legendary keeper is set to leave Stamford Bridge after falling behind Thibaut Courtois in Jose Mourinho's pecking order.

Cech recently admitted he wanted out, having grown frustrated as the Belgium star's deputy.

The 32-year-old was Chelsea's No.1 for ten years - but has only played five times in the Premier League this term.

And, according to the Daily Mirror, Roman Abramovich is prepared to let Cech join the club of his choice - if they're willing to pay his £10m asking price.

Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked with moves after Wojciech Szczesny and Simon Mignolet have come under fire.

Szczesny has not played in the Premier League since New Year's Day after he was allegedly caught smoking in the showers following defeat to Southampton.

Mignolet has returned to Brendan Rodgers' side after injury to Brad Jones.

But Cech is still seen as an improvement on both of those and his agent recently welcomed interest from the two clubs.

“I think Arsenal should have made an offer to him. I think Petr would be considering it,” Cech’s agent Viktor Kola said.

“Liverpool need to strengthen their position in goal and they know Petr will be available in the summer.
