The Reds have handed first-team opportunities to a number of youngsters in recent seasons, most notably Raheem Sterling and Jordan Ibe.

Canos, who can play in either midfield or attack, joined Liverpool in 2013 from Barcelona's famed La Masia academy, and is currently establishing himself as a key man for the club's Under-21 side.

The current international period has seen the 18-year-old train with the senior squad at Melwood, and the Spaniard has revealed that he hopes to impress the Anfield boss in order to get a shot at first-team glory.
