Phil Neville: Man Utd will finish above Liverpool and Arsenal won't make Champions League

PHIL NEVILLE believes Arsenal will miss out on the Champions League for the first time in Arsene Wenger's tenure and has backed former club Manchester United to finish second.

Neville, who spent ten years at United before joining Everton in 2005 and returned to Old Trafford as first-team coach under David Moyes in 2013, was asked for his predictions for who will finish in the top four at the end of the season.

The 38-year-old called United an 'outside bet' to finish behind Chelsea, who he feels will win the league.

He said: "For me Chelsea are going to win the league. I think they'll win it with three or four games to spare.

"I'm going for an outside bet of Manchester United finishing second and then I'm for City and Liverpool."

Neville's prediction for Arsenal to not qualify for Europe's top competition will surprise many given their six point lead over Liverpool and Wenger's record of seventeen consecutive appearances in the tournament.
