Manchester United have NOT tabled a bid for Mats Hummels

BORUSSIA DORTMUND claim they are 'relaxed' about Mats Hummels' future as they have confirmed Manchester United are yet to table a bid for him.

Hummels is thought to be valued around £30million and he generated serious interest from the Red Devils in the January transfer window.

Louis van Gaal is widely expected to be handed a big transfer kitty in the summer, and has made signing a new centre half a priority.

But Dortmund are confident Hummels won't swap the Bundesliga for the Premier League at the end of the season.

"Mats held talks with me and [sporting director] Michael Zorc 14 days ago, and informed us that he is mulling over his future. That's totally legitimate," Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke told German paper Bild.
