Harry Redknapp: The only way is up for Tottenham star Harry Kane after dream England debut

HARRY REDKNAPP expects Tottenham striker Harry Kane to continue his impressive form after he scored 79 seconds into his England debut.

Harry Kane Player Profile

Kane is preparing for tomorrow's friendly against Italy after coming off the bench to net in last Friday's 4-0 Euro 2016 qualifying win over Lithuania at Wembley.

It was the 21-year-old's 30th goal in all competitions this term, and Redknapp doesn't expect his form to drop anytime soon.

"I'm sure he will keep being successful because he loves football. He lives for football," said former Spurs and QPR boss.

Harry Kane's dedicated and he wants to be a top player - he's got a great chance

Harry Redknapp

"He puts the time in on the training ground, he's dedicated and he wants to be a top player. So he's got a great chance.

"So many of them come in, get contracts and think they have made it then, but Harry's not like that. He's well grounded, has a good family behind him.

"I don't see any reason that his career shouldn't continue to go onwards and upwards."
