The Spain midfielder has been in great form through March and helped Louis van Gaal's side to important victories over Tottenham and Liverpool.
He was named Man United's Player of the Month, and insists the fans have driven him on.
Mata's start against Tottenham on March 15 was his first in the league in two months.
And he followed it up by scoring twice as United beat Liverpool at Anfield last week.

Those two victories have put United in a great position to claim fourth spot - now with a five point gap over fifth-placed Liverpool - and has kept the pressure on Arsenal, who are just one point better off.
And, on his blog, Mata thanked the United fans for their support.
