Philippe Coutinho hails Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers
PHILIPPE COUTINHO has hailed Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers for trusting him to develop.
Coutinho joined Liverpool in 2013 for £8.5million, finding the back of the net 12 times in his 70 appearances for the Reds.
And the 22-year-old has credited Rodgers to trusting him to develop at the club.
"Brendan is a great manager, his ideas are very good and since the beginning he trusted me to develop my work," said Coutinho.

"He gave me a good run of games. He believed in me.
"This is how he behaves with everybody. But whenever there is a more important match, he is open for a talk.
"He is always after improving his team, and consequently improving his players."
