The 31-year-old will return to the club to play in their All-Star charity match with sides managed by current Liverpool skipper Gerrard and icon Jamie Carragher.
Spanish striker Torres is set to feature in Gerrard's squad along with Luis Suarez and Xabi Alonso.
"I'm really looking forward to meeting some of my old teammates, especially Stevie," Torres told Liverpoolfc.com.
