Daley Blind reveals what it takes to succeed at Manchester United

DALEY BLIND believes his move to Manchester United will improve him as a player.

The 25-year-old made the switch to United last summer, ending a 16-year association with Dutch giants Ajax.

However, the midfielder insists it was the right move and the rigours of the Premier League have forced him to up his game.

He told the Manchester Evening News: "In the Premier League, you have to grow.

"I noticed that the rhythm of the game is much higher. The games just went much faster than in the Netherlands. That comes in handy for me in the Dutch national team, and also in my career.

"When you develop yourself, you can become a more complete player and that's what I want - to get better every day, to learn little things; and these should naturally be reflected in the game."

Blind has since become a United regular, making 18 league appearances in the centre of the park, and more recently, at left-back in the wins over Liverpool and Tottenham.
