Neil Taylor is wanted by Liverpool

The south Wales club are keen to keep Taylor around and are before the end of the season.

But with just over a year to run on his current deal, the Swans may be forced to sell over the summer if the 26-year-old stalls over committing to fresh terms.

Both Crystal Palace and West Brom made bids for Taylor in January, but ESPNFC now claim that Liverpool are also interested.

Brendan Rodgers is a fan of Neil Taylor

Newcastle and Aston Villa have both reportedly also expressed an interest in the Welsh international.

Brendan Rodgers worked with Taylor during his time in charge of the Swans.

And it is claimed that the Northern Irishman toyed with the idea of bringing Taylor with him to Anfield when he first took over.

A broken ankle at the start of the 2012-13 season scuppered that move, but Rodgers is now ready to revive his interest.
