Calciomercato claims that the Argentina international will return to his homeland this summer despite interest from the east London outfit.

Tevez enjoyed a fruitful season with West Ham during the 2006/07 campaign, making a big impact to help the club beat relegation.

The striker then made waves at both United and Manchester City, winning a number of Premier League titles before linking up with Juventus.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tevez resolved his contract with Juventus a year early to come and play for us

Daniel Angelici

The Daily Mail had previously claimed that West Ham were desperate to bring Tevez back to Upton Park, but it now appears that Boca have won the race for his signature.

Indeed, president Daniel Angelici told Fox Sports last month: "We talked to Carlitos on February 5, his birthday.

"We hope for his return to Boca. I wouldn't be surprised if Tevez resolved his contract with Juventus a year early to come and play for us."
