And Kane netted a hat-trick against Leicester on Saturday to take him on to 19 league goals - joint with Diego Costa as the Premier League's top scorer.
The 21-year-old took part in his first full England training session today, and Cahill reckons he fit straight in.
"He comes across as a top professional and I am sure whatever he his asked to do he will do," Cahill said.

"Whether you are asked to play for the senior England side or the under 21s you want to go and play and it is as simple as that.
"He has got his taste of the seniors in this meet up and I am sure there will be many more.
