INTER MILAN will make a move for Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech if Samir Handanovic leaves in the summer.

Petr Cech Player Profile

Cech has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in recent months after losing his first-choice status to Thibaut Courtois.

The Czech international has made just five Premier League appearances this term.

And according to reports in Italy, Inter boss Roberto Mancini is eyeing up a summer move for the 32-year-old as his current No.1 Handanovic looks set to move on.

The Slovenian reportedly refused to sign a new deal at the Serie A giants, with his current contract set to expire at the end of next season.

Manchester United are understood to be keeping a close eye on Handanovic's availability in the event David De Gea joins Real Madrid.

The Spaniard has been key for the Red Devils this term, but is likely to leave should United fail to qualify for the Champions League.
