Man City and Man United set for STUNNING £90m summer battle for Gareth Bale

The world's most expensive player is under fire at Real Madrid following a number of underwhelming performances.

Last night, after a Clasico defeat at the Nou Camp, Bale's car was attacked by angry Madrid fans.

And he is reportedly considering his future in Spain.

The Wales star moved to the Bernabeu in 2013 for a world record £85m.

But the Daily Mirror report that Bale could head back to the Premier League.

For Tottenham he hit 31 goals in 52 appearances before his move to La Liga. 

Last season he helped Real clinch their tenth European Cup, scoring the second goal in the 4-1 win over Atletico Madrid.

Bale also scored against Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final.

This season he's hit 18 in 43 appearances, but has come in for criticism as Carlo Ancelotti's side's form has slipped in recent weeks.

After the Clasico defeat they trail Barcelona by four points with ten games to play.
