Experienced heads helping Chelsea youngsters to perform at their best - John Terry

CHELSEA captain John Terry says "experienced heads" in the dressing room are helping the development of the club's young players.

Jose Mourinho pretty confident Chelsea will win the Premier League title

Chelsea are riding high at the top of the Premier League table, six points ahead of second-place Manchester City with a game in hand.

They beat Hull City 3-2 yesterday after a dogged display in which substitute Loic Remy bagged a late winner.

And Terry, 34, believes the older players such as Branislav Ivanovic (31), Gary Cahill (29), Petr Cech (32) and Didier Drogba (37) help stabilise the team.

"The importance of the win showed on the players' faces and that of the manager afterwards," Terry said after the Hull game.

"When you set the standard so high as we have done from the word go, then start dropping points at home and go out of the Champions League, once again it comes back down to character.

"It's immense in the dressing room, there is an awful lot of experience in there. It will serve the younger lads well, too.

"It was an important three points going into the international break. For everyone to dwell over that for two weeks was massive."
