Loic Remy: Chelsea's win over Hull proves how tough the title race with Man City is

LOIC REMY admits Chelsea's difficult win over Hull has highlighted how difficult the Premier League title race can be.

Jose Mourinho pretty confident Chelsea will win the Premier League title

Chelsea took an early lead with goals from Eden Hazard and Diego Costa in the opening 10 minutes.

But two goals in two minutes put Hull back on level terms with the visitors.

And it was left to substitute Remy to net the winner a matter of minutes after coming off the bench late in the second half, and his strike was his first touch of the game.

"It’s not bad!" he said afterwards. "But it doesn’t matter if it is the first touch or after several more, I was really pleased to score this goal and give the winner to my team mates.

Hopefully we will win this title but we could see again in this game that it is not an easy league to win and that is why we will try to fight every game to win

"It was just a question of being in the right place at the right time and we are just looking forward to the next step.

"Hopefully we will win this title but we could see again in this game that it is not an easy league to win and that is why we will try to fight every game to win.

"It was a really tough game against Hull City. After the two goals we scored they reacted in the right way and put us in a difficult situation.

"The two goals they scored in a row gave them confidence and it was a bit difficult but the most important is the win."

Chelsea's 3-2 win over Hull keeps them top of the table with a healthy six point gap over Manchester City.
