Jose Mourinho kept his composure at half-time

The Blues went into the break on level terms despite scoring early goals through Eden Hazard and Diego Costa.

But lacklustre defending saw Ahmad Elmohamady and Abel Hernandez get the Tigers on level terms after 45 minutes.

Nevertheless, Mourinho says he knew what needed to be corrected and had total faith in his troops to execute the plan in order to gain all three points at the KC Stadium.

The team talk at half-time was a calm one.

He told Sky Sports: "During the week, we were more focused on how Hull play with three centre backs, but they changed their approach and gave us a tough time, but in the second-half our positional play was much better.

"We lost our shape for the last 25 minutes of the first-half, but I could see why the team couldn't get back to the right level of football after the break.

"At 2-2, we had a chance to get back out there again and start afresh and that's what we did.

"The team talk at half-time was a calm one. It wasn't to reflect on mistakes as I have complete trust in how the team could correct its mistakes."
