Man Utd Transfer News: Van Gaal's £50m De Gea FEAR, Pogba blow

The shot stopper has been linked with a stunning £50million switch to Real Madrid in the summer and has just a year left to run on his present deal.

The Daily Mirror claim De Gea has shown no desire to put pen to paper on a new contract.

And it seems United are bracing themselves for the worst, with a source telling the paper: "It has turned into the worst-case scenario.

"There has been no indication that De Gea will sign a new contact and at some point a decision will have to be made when to cash in on him."

The Red Devils face an uphill battle to sign Juventus star Paul Pogba.

United along with Arsenal and Chelsea are on his tail, but Juve director Pavel Nedved claims none of the Premier League clubs have made an offer and told French newspaper Le Parisien: "Yes, PSG sent us an offer.

"But Paris are not alone -- Real Madrid and Barcelona are also interested."
