Manchester City planning ANOTHER audacious raid on Arsenal
MANCHESTER CITY are reportedly lining up a move for Arsenal star Jack Wilshere.
The Gunners midfielder is currently nursing an ankle injury and missed his side's 2-1 win over Newcastle yesterday.
Wilshere has arguably yet to reach his full potential with the north London outfit, but that won't put off City.
The Times report the Citizens are weighing up a move as they seek to revamp their squad and accommodate more English players.
The report suggests City want to have a younger crop of players and Wilshere has been viewed as an ideal target.
Though Wilshere has had his problems off the field, it is thought he could carry a big price tag.
City have signed five Arsenal players since 2008 - Emmanuel Adebayor, Gael Clichy, Samir Nasri, Bacary Sagna and Kolo Toure.
