Simon Mignolet: I've got NOTHING to do with Liverpool's turnaround in form

SIMON MIGNOLET insists Liverpool's revival has nothing to do with him - it is purely down to the fact they are more organised as a unit.

Liverpool v Manchester United - Premier League Preview

The Reds host bitter adversaries Manchester United this lunchtime at Anfield (1.30pm), and the stakes couldn't be much higher with both clubs vying it out for a top four spot.

Mignolet, who regained his spot in Brendan Rodgers' starting XI after a torrid run of form in the first half of the campaign, believes there is a great sense of togetherness in the squad.

"I don't think it is anything to do with me personally," Mignolet said.

"You score goals as a team and you concede them as a team.

"You are all together as one unit, and since the gaffer changed the system after the United game we have all been very organised.

"Everybody is willing to work for each other and we haven't been giving opponents many opportunities to score.

"There have been games where we have played really well, and then wins like the one at Swansea last week when we had to grind it out.

"We can do both, but not giving many chances away is key."

Liverpool can climb above United with a win.
