Sterling postpones Liverpool contract talks [AMBIENT]
Sterling is thought to be holding out for a £140,000-a-week contract having been offered £90,000.
And yesterday it emerged Rodgers was considering a move for Walcott this summer if Sterling cannot be convinced to stay.
Walcott's deal will have 12 months to run, and despite being on around £100,000-a-week himself, Rodgers considers him get-able.
However, today Rodgers claimed Sterling will resume contract talks in the summer.
