TOMAS ROSICKY could return for Arsenal for the trip to Newcastle on Saturday (3pm) after recovering from illness.

While Arsene Wenger has no fresh injury concerns following the mid-week match against Monaco, Rosicky's return will help compensate for a raft of injuries in the Gunners midfield.

Club captain Mikel Arteta (ankle), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (hamstring), Jack Wilshere (ankle) and Mathieu Debuchy (ankle) are all out as they continue their rehabilitation.

Meanwhile, Newcastle will be without Fabricio Coloccini after the Argentine defender failed in his red card appeal.

The Magpies skipper was sent off for a challenge on Aaron Lennon during Sunday's 3-0 defeat at Everton and will be suspended for three games, joining striker Papiss Cisse on the sidelines as he serves the second stage of his seven-match ban.
