England boss hails LETHAL Chelsea star ahead of international duty

Bamford has hit 14 goals during his loan spell from Chelsea and was named in Southgate's squad for the fixtures against Germany and Czech Republic.

“Patrick is in really good form,” Southgate said. 

“He’s picked a really good moment (to find that). 

"He’s played out wide and through the centre, which is his preference. 

“He’s a goal scorer and someone who doesn’t need too many chances to make his mark. 

"He’s playing with a lot of confidence and is enjoying more and more responsibility in the side.”
