The Swedish striker has been linked with a move to England, with Liverpool the bookmakers favourite to pull off a deal.

Ibrahimovic courted controversy this week after criticising the standard of refereeing in France with comments that were widely misinterpreted to be aimed at the country as a whole.

And while some reports suggested the backlash could drive Ibrahimovic to England, his representative Mino Raiola claims that is unlikely.

He told L'Equipe: "Could Zlatan leave PSG? Theoretically, yes.

"But only if there is a transfer. And that would mean that PSG have to cooperate.

"This leads me to say: virtually, no!

"Today, he is still the most important player of the PSG project.

"Where is his replacement? Where is the new Zlatan? It is impossible to find one today and PSG knows that."

"Zlatan is unique. There is only one player in the world who measures 1.96m, with the technique of Messi, the character of Muhammad Ali, and Mike Tyson's strength."
