Manuel Pellegrini makes changes to his City side

After being heavily criticised for playing two strikers in the first leg at the Etihad Stadium - won by Barcelona 2-1 - Pellegrini has dropped Edin Dzeko to play Sergio Aguero as a lone striker with playmaker David Silva in behind him in a 4-4-1-1 system.

There are other changes following the 1-0 defeat at Burnley on Saturday.

Regular right back Pablo Zabaleta is left out with Bacary Sagna taking his place, Aleksander Kolarov replaces the suspended Gael Clichy at left back and James Milner comes in for Jesus Navas.

Barcelona have moved Javier Mascherano into midfield to replace the injured Sergio Busquets with Jeremy Mathieu taking Mascherano's place in the back four.

Barcelona (4-3-3): Ter Stegen; Alves, Pique, Mathieu, Alba; Rakitic, Mascherano, Iniesta; Messi, Suarez, Neymar.

Man City (4-4-1-1): Hart; Sagna, Kompany, Demichelis, Kolarov; Nasri, Toure, Fernandinho, Milner; Silva; Aguero.
