Chelsea target Nathaniel Clyne to SNUB Saints deal for Man Utd move

Express Sport exclusively revealed last week that the Saints have handed Clyne and team-mate Morgan Schneiderlin double-their-money deals in a bid to keep them at St Mary's this summer.

Clyne has been offered £50,000 a week, with his current contract due to expire at the end of next season.

But The Sun claim the 23-year-old will snub a new deal at Southampton and wait for Manchester United to swoop.

Chelsea have also been linked with Clyne but it is believed he would prefer a move to Old Trafford.

The right-back impressed against the Blues yesterday as Saints earned a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Clyne has made 33 appearances for Ronald Koeman's side this season and earned two caps for England.
