Gareth Bale gives green light to stunning Manchester United move

GARETH BALE is reportedly tempted to join Manchester United in the summer providing the right offer comes in for him.

Gareth Bale Player Profile

United has been mooted as a possible destination for the Welshman in recent months after coming under stinging criticism from Real Madrid supporters this term.

Bale joined Real from Spurs for a world record fee of £85.3million in 2013, and it is thought he could make a sensational return to the Premier League.

The Daily Mirror claim Bale is ready to ride out the storm at the Bernabeu, but will consider a move to England's top flight should a suitable offer be forthcoming.

They suggest he has always been open to joining United, and that he would be tempted should they make a play for him.

Florentino Perez

Real president Florentino Perez revealed last week it's not just United who are chasing Bale, as he said: "Gareth Bale is one of the best players in the world.

"The only thing I can say is that we shouldn't forget what he was able to achieve in his first year at Real Madrid."
