Louis van Gaal reveals why he'd LEAVE Man Utd

LOUIS VAN GAAL admits he would leave his position as Manchester United boss if he ever lost the 'chemistry' with his players.

Louis van Gaal - The Facts

Van Gaal arrived at Old Trafford in the summer to replace the sacked David Moyes, who failed to guide the Red Devils to Champions League qualification.

The Dutchman spent in excess of £150million rebuilding the squad, and is so far on track to return the club to Europe's elite competition.

United's style of play has come under some criticism this term, but Van Gaal remains confident in his players.

The 20-time Premier League winners moved five points clear of fifth-placed Liverpool tonight after beating Tottenham 3-0 at Old Trafford.

He said: "When I think that the chemistry between the players and the manager is not good enough anymore then I go.

"But when I see the chemistry between myself and the players now then I don't have any doubts.

"We have to continue in our process.

"Of course we have had disappointing moments but we can survive and we have the confidence to qualify for the Champions League."
