MANCHESTER UNITED manager Louis van Gaal has kept faith with Wayne Rooney as he looks to deliver a hammer blow to Tottenham's Champions League hopes at Old Trafford.
Juan Mata returns to Manchester United's starting XI for Tottenham clash
The morning after a video emerged of Rooney apparently being knocked out in a February sparring session with Phil Bardsley, the United skipper was chosen to lead the attack for the Red Devils.
Van Gaal brings Phil Jones, Juan Mata and Michael Carrick into his starting XI, while Radamel Falcao is left on the bench.
Tottenham makes one change, with Danny Rose replacing Ben Davies at left-back.
