The former United defender says he wouldn't even watch them play if he didn't have work commitments to do so.

“If I wasn’t doing television, I wouldn’t watch it. It’s too painful," he told The Sun.
“It’s negative, not good to watch, it’s disheartening and not enjoyable.
“United are big out in Asia and people come up to me and just shake their heads."
With inconsistant performances throughout this term, United have had to endure another trophyless season after their FA Cup defeat to Arsenal last week.
