The 21-year-old frontman notched up the award for the second successive month.

His four goals last month kept Spurs firmly in the hunt for a top-four finish under Mauricio Pochettino.

And he joined an exclusive club, becoming just the fourth player to achieve that feat.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Dennis Bergkamp and Robbie Fowler also have the honour of winning the award twice in a row.

Kane said: "I'm very happy, very pleased. It's an honour. To win this award once, let alone twice in two months is special.

"Against Arsenal, winning 2-1, and getting both the goals was a special day for myself, for my career and for the club itself."

Meanwhile, West Brom boss Tony Pulis collected the manager of the month accolade.
