The Barcelona winger is currently enjoying a two-year loan deal with Porto, although the Nou Camp club have an option to recall the 23-year-old.

And he has revealed that he wants to remain in Portugal, despite reported interested from the Reds and Spurs last summer.

He said: “I’ve always felt really comfortable and I hope to be here for a long time.

“Am I willing to stay? Those things don’t depend on me but if it happened I’d be happy.”

Tello boasts seven goals for the season

Tello has played 29 games for Porto this season, scoring seven goals, and helped guide the club into the Champions League quarter-finals with a 7-0 aggregate win over Basel this week.

His agent, Jose Maria Orobitg, has already made it clear he won't return to Barca but it appears Liverpool's and Spurs' advances are also futile.

"He was loaned out to Porto on a two-year deal," Orobitg had said. "Barca could call him back after just one, but don't worry, that isn't going to happen. He won't return next season, but will be back the year after."
