But Falcao was not involved, with a source telling The Sun: "While he won't admit it publicly, it's becoming clear to him the move is not going to work out. For whatever reason Louis van Gaal just does not believe in him."
The Colombia hitman has scored just four goals since his loan move from Monaco last summer.
And United boss Louis van Gaal is not expected to make the £43million deal permanent.
