CONFIRMED: Steve Bruce agrees new deal at Hull

HULL have announced boss Steve Bruce has agreed a new deal with the Premeir League strugglers which will be signed in the next 24 hours.

Steve Bruce commits his future to Hull City

The 54-year-old - who led Hull to Europa League qualification for the first time last term - will be extending his stay with them into a fourth season.

The former Sunderland boss took over at the KC Stadium in the summer of 2012 and immediately got them promoted back to the Premier League where they have stayed since.

Bruce said on the new deal: "I'm delighted to have committed my future to the club.

"We have achieved a lot in the few years we have been here, but this is just the beginning of the journey.

"Premier League survival is now crucial for us at this time, as is improving our training facilities as we look to continue to grow and become a solid, well run Premier League club.

"I would like to thank the owners for their continued support, along with the fans; we have had the supporters' backing since we arrived here in Hull and long may that continue."
