The Serbia international has been a revelation for Jose Mourinho's side after rejoining the club over a year ago from Benfica.
And reports today claim that Matic is set to sign a new lucrative deal following his impressive performances at Stamford Bridge.
One player who is a keen admirer of the savvy anchorman is Loftus-Cheek, who has been tipped to become a Chelsea star of the future.

The 19-year-old is hoping for more chances in the first team after making his debut earlier in the season, and has revealed that Matic is a huge influence on him at the Cobham training ground.
Loftus-Cheek said: "We're both tall players and central midfielders. I can see why there would be comparisons there.
"I try to watch Nemanja defensively because I don't think there's anyone better than him in that role as a defensive midfielder and that's what I think I need to improve on."
